8 steps to healthier looking skin this summer

We all want to look our best, and that includes having healthy, glowing skin. But with so many products on the market and conflicting advice from well-meaning friends, it can be tough to know where to start when it comes to taking care of your skin.



Here are some simple tips that will help you achieve healthier-looking skin.


1. Wear sunscreen every day – Yes, even in the winter! The sun’s UV rays can damage your skin even when it’s cold outside, so it’s important to always apply sunscreen before heading out for the day. 5. Avoid touching your face – It’s tempting to rest our chin in our hand or rub our eyes when we’re tired, but this can actually transfer bacteria from our hands onto our face

and lead to breakouts. If you must touch your

face during the day, make sure your hands are clean first.


6. Don’t smoke – Smoking causes premature wrinkling and speeds up the aging process, so it’s best to avoid it altogether if possible. If you do smoke, quitting is one of the best things you can do for your skin (and your overall health).


7. Exfoliate regularly – Exfoliating helps remove dead skin cells from the surface of your skin, revealing the softer, brighter skin beneath. Just be sure not to overdo it – exfoliating more than two or three times per week can actually damage your skin.
